My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience with Marius, who not only guided us through wonderful landscapes but also made us laugh and shared amazing food with. Would recommend it to anyone who would like to see more of the beauty South Africa has to offer!

I‘m in lack of words to describe the beauty of the places I’ve seen on this experience! But what I can say is that Marius managed to create a truly special day – they were able to take the time for a spontaneous booking, showed some magical places beyond the well-known paths, and are inspiring people to talk to. I will definitely hike with them again and I’m sure they’ll make an amazing, tailored experience for anyone – 100% recommend! Thanks Marius!

We are passionate about creating unique experiences, designed for spirited travellers. We will take you to otherwise impossible places, to surmount obstacles you might not have imagined surmounting and to open new doors for you.

Cape Peninsula

On this day we will visit the most stunning spots of Cape Peninsula.

We will start the day early with a breakfast in one of the best local cafés, visit fish market, talk to the fishermen, have a close encounter with wild sealsand a have a lovely walk with the penguins.

We will proceed towards the Cape of Good Hope, while admiring the eastern coast of the Peninsula. In the reserve, there are several stunning spots that even few locals know about – we will enjoy the beauty of the nature by being completely on our own! Shy fauna of the Cape is more likely to be seen there (Eland, Bontebok, Baboons, Dassies, Ostriches, etc).

For sunset, we will enjoy a picnic on one the most beautiful beaches of South Africa – we will watch a concert of waves with the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean.

The small fishing village of Hout Bay is often jokingly referred to as the ‘Republic of Hout Bay’ by Cape Town locals, and has the sense of being an entirely separate town. A beautiful beach, delicious fresh seafood, bustling markets and plenty of restaurants make this suburb a must-visit on any Cape tour. You will also have the optional extra of going to admire and pet friendly seals that decided to chill among locals in the Hout Bay Harbour.

Cape Point and the spectacular nature reserve that lies in this area is one of the most famous landmarks in Cape Town, and for good reason. Situated on the very tip of the peninsula, the area spans across landscapes of rugged cliffs, lush fynbos and vast open spaces.

Simon’s Town is the seat of the SA Navy, and has a charming coastal town atmosphere and a vibrant history. Here you can find a thriving harbour, a toy museum, navy museum and plenty of other sights – nearby is also Boulders Beach, which is one of the only places in the world that you can swim alongside penguins.

The quaint suburb of Kalk Bay runs along the Main Road, with the False Bay coastline running on one side, and the mountain on the other. Along the Main Road lies a host of veritable treasure troves, from antique shops to costume shops, bakeries, restaurants and plenty more. The area is also excellent for whale watching during whale season.

Table Mountain & Lion’s Head Hikes

No visit to Mother City is accomplished without visiting Table Mountain – officially one of the new 7 wonders of the world.

Adventurous Hikes on Table Mountain

We will tailor make an unique expedition specially for you – the trail will be chosen based on your hiking experience, preference for exposure, sun or shade, etc. Along the way, you will be introduced to the most concentrated and diverse floral kingdom in the world and possibly meet the Table Mountain wildlife, such as cute dassies or beautiful Himalayan Tahr. We’ll have lunch in a stunning spot with a view over the Mother City far from the crowded commonly used paths.

Remarkable Sunset on Lion’s Head

Take an unforgettable hike up Lion’s Head that will end with the sun setting into the ocean and a glass of wine on the top as we soak up an incredible view of Cape Town. Lion’s Head holds several secret routes that avoid the crowds that frequent the mountain. The moderately challenging route with some exposed scrambles that leads through the “nose” of the lion would be our first recommendation, but we are happy to adjust the experience based on your preferences and physical condition. We will also happily refund your money if you are not satisfied.

Every Experience is unique and fully adjusted based on your preferences, budget and physical condition.

Hiking with Marius was an amazing experience. We opted for the less-taken trail up Lion’s peak and Marius’ route didn’t disappoint: we climbed the boulders, hiked and watched the sunset at the peak while seating on the prettiest hidden nook. The best part about the hike was enjoying Marius’ pleasant company up at the top, with a beautiful view, lovely conversations and tasty snacks. My friend and I challenged ourselves by doing the hike and thanks to Marius’ support and motivation, we made it to the top! Thank you Marius for the memorable moment.
